ILLIT is a 5-member girl group under BELIFT LAB formed through the survival program 'R U Next?' The members are Yuna, Minju, Moka (Japanese), Wonhee, and Iroha (Japanese). The group name ILLIT embodies the meaning of being able to become anything and the anticipation of what they will become. The group is composed of members with outstanding dance skills and charming voices.
ILLIT debuted on March 25, 2024, as a visual group with each member possessing unique looks and charm. Before their debut, they were the first group to be invited to overseas fashion weeks. Their official fandom name is 'ONLY', and they are the first girl group launched by BELIFT LAB and the third girl group to debut under HYBE LABELS. They do not have an official leader, and all members operate with a leader's mindset.
Originally, 6 members, including 'Yeongseo', were selected for 'R U Next?', but after mutual agreement, she terminated her contract with the agency, leading to the group debuting with 5 members.
